This is where I document all of the preview thumbnails that do not match the actual leak models. If there are any leads on the "lost" variant, I'll post what I know in here. - CrazyBubba64 - Last updated 6/6/2016 APC.mdl : The thumbnail shows the early VAB, while the model ingame is a very simple version of the retail model. Barney.mdl : The texture shows the E3 version of barney, while the leak ships with the retail model. houndeye.mdl : The thumbnail shows the model, but the .mdl file is empty/corrupted. manhack.mdl : The thumbnail shows an orange-ish version of the manhack, while the leak version is green/blue. odell.mdl : The thumbnail shows correct textures on Odell, while the actual leak model has several UV problems. police.mdl : The thumbnail shows the police using the old textures present in the leak, the actual model just uses the retail "_sheet" composite texture. roller.mdl : The thumbnail shows a plain metal sphere, while the leak model is properly textured. WScanner_Pair.mdl : Thumbnail shows models correctly textured with a greenish material. Leak does not contain any of these materials. WScanner_Single.mdl : See above WScanner_Tri.mdl : See above props_c17/canister_propane##... : These models are using a skin not present in the leak in their thumbnails. props_c17/fountain_01.mdl : Thumbnail appears to be white, leak model is the same as retail. props_c17/lamppost01a_bent.mdl : Thumbnail shows the correct texture, while the leak model's texture is incorrect. props_c17/lamppost03a_off.mdl : The thumbnail shows an older version of the prop, but the leak model is a modern street lamp. The textures for the old model do not seem to be present in the leak. props_c17/lamppost03a_on.mdl : Same as above. props_c17/oildrum001.mdl : Thumbnail shows an orange barrel, while the leak model is identical to the brown retail model. props_c17/tools_pliers01a.mdl : Oddly enough, this model isn't even present in the leak. Strange how a thumbnail would be. props_c17/tools_wrench01a.mdl : See above. props_c17/windowframe04a.mdl : Texture is applied properly in the thumbnail, but not in the leak model. props_c17/windowframe06.mdl : Texture is applied properly in the thumbnail, but not in the leak model. props_citizen_tech/windmill002a.mdl : Thumbnail shows missing textures, while the leak model is correctly textured. props_combine/Combine_Barricade_Shield001.mdl : The thumbnail shows part of a blueish sort of thing, while the leak model is a neat orange animated wall. props_combine/health_charger001.mdl : The thumbnail appears to have an incorrect texture applied. The leak model appears fine. props_rooftop/dome003.mdl : thumbnail appears completely black, and may also have a different mesh than the leak model. props_rooftop/rooftop_cluser01.mdl : The thumbnail shows a missing texture, while the actual model is textured properly. props_rooftop/rooftop_cluser03.mdl : See above. props_rooftop/rooftop_cluser05.mdl : See above. props_wasteland/controlroom_monitor001b.mdl : The thumbnail shows a weird tranparent blue version, while the actual model has normal textures. props_wasteland/controlroom_storagecloset001a.mdl : See above. shadertest/shaderslab* : These do not seem to render correctly in the thumbnails. The leak models are fine though. zombie/poison.mdl : Thumbnail shows a very old model, similar to the fast zombie or old "fat" zombie, actual leak model is very similar to retail.
