MakeTex

This program will extract the texture information necessary for creating levels from Quake or Quake II based games. You must have installed the registered version of the game for this to run.

step 1. Type in the location of Quake (I or II) on your hard drive or press the Browse button to select it

step 2. Select the subdirectories to extract textures from.

step 3. If you are using a Quake I type game, enter the name of the texture WAD file you want to create. The WAD extension is automatically included. This is ignored for Quake II type games.

step 4. Click on the Go! button to extract the information, or press ESC to stop the program.
