Carve
This will take the selected object and carve its shape out of the surrounding area. For more information, see Carving in the Reshaping Solids section.
Make Hollow
You must have a brush selected for this to work. It will ask you to supply a value for wall thickness. Positive numbers will keep the hollowed brush the same size, and negative numbers will cause it to expand.
Group/Ungroup
This will physically bind two or more objects together so they may be acted upon simultaneously. This has nothing to do with VisGrouping.
Tie to entity/Move to world
These commands can move an object back and forth between the world and entity types. Moving an object to the world will strip all entity properties from it. When you tie an object to an entity, a dialog will pop up with a list of all available brush entities.
Texture application
This will switch the current tool to the Texture Application tool.
Replace textures
This will bring up the Replace Textures dialog which allows you to search and mark or replace all textures of a certain type.
Texture lock
This option toggles texture lock mode on and off. Texture lock allows you to move a brush laterally without disturbing the texture alignments. Currently, texture lock will not preserve texture alignment when you are rotating a brush.
Snap selected to grid
Not all objects will align perfectly to the grid. Some objects, such as entities, are occasionally difficult to align with the grid. This command will snap the bottom of the entity to the grid.
Transform
This brings up the Transform dialog which allows you to rotate, scale, and move an object a precise value in any of the X, Y, or Z planes.
Align objects
This allows you to align an object with the grid, like Snap to grid, but with more option as to where it actually aligns itself.
Flip objects
This allows you to flip objects horizontally or vertically (or both, to mirror the object).
Prefab Factory...
This brings up the Prefab Factory dialog, which allows for creation and maintenance of Worldcraft's prefab (.OL) files.
Create Prefab
This will allow you to turn the currently selected object into a prefab. The Create Prefab dialog will appear, and you can enter a name and description, as well as choose which prefab library the prefab will belong to.
Options...
This will bring up the Options dialog group. For more information, select one of the following:
